Sculptures at Bathers March 14/15, Bathers Beach, Fremantle

Over 70 sculptures will take up residence in Bathers Beach arts precinct for the remainder of the month. After a highly successful inaugural year in 2013, this is sure to become an annual event. 

Captain’s Lane Summer Fest Saturday March 14th, Captain’s Lane, Fremantle

Combine Latin dancing, free concerts, street food, art stalls and the moonlight and you gave yourself the Captain’s Lane summer festival. 

Sculptures by the Sea All Weekend, Cottosloe Beach

Over 70 artists will have decorated Cottosloe with various sculptures for the 11th annual Sculptures by the Sea exhibition. 

Mandurah Crab Festival March 14/15, Mandurah

Mandurah will be in the spotlight this weekend with the the area’s premier yearly event, expecting crowds of around 100,000. There will be live music, cooking, and of course lots of crab; crab nachos, crab arancini balls, chili crab and more. 

Waterford Plaza Street Festival March 14/15, Waterford Plaza

Last year marked the debut of this now annual festival and it drew an impressive crowd. Enjoy world cusine, free entertainment and market stalls.

See jewellery from the Venetian-Jewish community dating back as far as the 18th century. Hidden by the nazis in 1943, they were lost and forgotten until uncovered only a few years ago during the restoration of the Penontina.
