This evening, foodie specialists Salt Meat Cheese will be hosting a 3.5 hour Italian feast by master chef Massimo Mele. The four course meal will also come with wine. 


Young Henry’s ANZAC Brew Release Sundag April 19th, Young Henry’s Newtown

In honour of the unveiling of the new Winged Victory statue by the Marrickville council, Young Henry’s are releasing an ANZAC bikkie brew. The statue commentates 457 soldiers who died in WWI. Naturally, the 4.75% spiced ale will feature oats and honey with hops coming from both Australia and New Zealand. 


Strange Plants II Release Sunday April 19th, PRESS, 116 Abercrombie Street, Chippendale

After a highly successful first edition, contemporary art celebration work, Strange Plants, is releasing a second edition. The book, featuring works from 30 artists, will be launched by niche bookstore, PRESS, with copies available this weekend. 


Record Store Day Saturday April 18th, Various Locations

It’s time to beef up your record collection and support independent stores citywide. Some of the big players putting on a show for you this year include Mojo Record Bar and Red Eye, but you can expect in store vinyls spinning, prizes and discounts in stores all over Sydney.
