Adelaide Street Food Festival May 16/17, Flinders Street

A small area on Flinders Street will be completely transformed into a street-food lovers paradise this weekend as colourful vendors will parade their collections of ready-to-eat food and drink around. Cuisine should be inspired from all parts of the world and cost relatively little. Watch out for the best street food dish and stall design awards. 

 

A Day of Clarity Saturday May 16, Various Locations, Adelaide East End

Hosted by Clarity Records, A Day of Clarity will feature six stages with four local bands per stage. Starting in the early evening/night, entry for each stage will be free with the Exeter, Crown & Anchor, Producers Lounge and Clarity Records themselves all on the venue list.

The 16th annual SASA Gala Awards is almost upon us with a masquerade ball being this year’s theme. There are two big ticket items in the competition for South Australia’s highest film accolade; Austin Film Festival’s Dark Matter award winner One Eyed Girl and SXSW critically acclaimed The Infinite Man

  
Francis Street Activation All Weekend, Francis Street, Adelaide

As of this weekend, Francis Street (the street leading up to the state library) will be transformed into the latest outdoor exhibition space.
